Santa up until 2000 was placed in the top ten in all of his appearances at the Mongrel Masters, where he slipped to 14th and record his highest score. His best finishes were when he was  tied for 7th in 1996 and 1997. Was winner of Best Dressed in 1997 when he wore Jimmy Cassidy's silks and Roger Davis socks. Despite missing 2001 Masters due to back injury, Santa recorded his best ever score on his return in 2002.
