Winner of
the1993,1994,1997 &1998 Mongrel Masters. 4th in All Time Career
earnings and holds numerous All Time Mongrel records, including lowest
winning score of 34 and highest winning score of 40.
Ramrod's
walking out to the sea in an attempt to drown himself on the 5th and
his subsequent withdrawal is the greatest disgrace of the Masters. He
was fined $50,000 for his misconduct and placed on a twelve month good
behavior bond. Then in 2003 Ramrod once again let himself down by
walking off the course and not handing in a card. He was subsequently
fined $100,000 and sanctioned by the Board.
His erratic
form continued in 2002 when he became the first Champion ever to win the
Bradman award for the highest score. Despite this he was elected a Life
Member at the 2002 Champions Dinner.
