Crowles recorded highest ever position on order of merit (14th) to win
Rookie of the Year in 1997. Followed up in 1998 to receive Bradman
Award, most believing by default due to Long Drive Cliffy's illness.
In 1991 was awarded the best dressed award for a very nice ensemble.
In 2000
mysteriously recorded his best ever score and position in the
Tournament, slipping into the top 10, many believe by the stroke of
the pen rather than a golf club. Suspicions were seen to be proven in
2001 when Mungo racked up the strokes that we had all come to expect.
His second worst score of 55 led to his worst ever position on the
leader board of 16th.
