Johno a Starter.

The news of Noni Scanlon’s victory has brought 1992 Mongrel Masters Champion, Johno Johnson out of retirement.

"I can’t believe they let him win again!" Was Johno’s reaction to Noni’s victory.

"What’s happened to the event? Has it gone soft or something?" said Johno.

Rumors abound around the Tour that some of the competitors have put a contract out to stop Noni and that Johno is the assigned "hit man".

" I took him out of the tournament in ‘92 and it took him five years to recover from that. So obviously some of the lads are looking to me to rub him out of this years Masters"

" If there is an added financial incentive for doing this, well, so be it. But I wouldn’t call it a contract. Lets say it’s an understanding" was Johno’s response to the contract rumors.

It will be a clash of the titans when these two big fellows meet at this years Masters.
