Mongrel Masters Sledge Ball

Forget the Cointreau Ball. Move over the Logies. The number one social event on the calendar this year will be the Mongrel Masters Sledge Ball.

The Sledge Ball will be held on Sunday 29th December, the night before the big tournament, at the new home of the Mongrel Masters.

It will be a strictly black tie affair, where members of the Mongrel Tour will be encouraged to bring their spouses and concubines, who will add beauty and glamour to the evening.

The Ball will give the players an opportunity to get a psychological edge over their opponents and the chance to down a few nerve settling ales before the big tournament. Groupings for the following mornings event will be announced and The Gadfly will lay down the Odds for the field.

The whole night will ooze with celebrities and living legends.
Imagine rubbing shoulders with Chad and meeting his poor suffering wife, Gezza, who has to put up with him for the other 364 days of the year.

What about sinking a beer with Long Drive Cliffy and having him give you a stroke-by-stroke description of last years memorable round?
Grab an autograph off reigning Masters Champion Harold P Ouvrier, resplendent in the Blue Tweed.

Discover whether Legend wears a strapless gown and if Dale is dressed in a dinner suit with top hat.

So write the date in your diary and book a baby sitter for the night to beat all nights, the Mongrel Masters Sledge Ball.
