LEGEND ENSOR won his fourth consecutive best dressed award with his attire being a cross between John Travolta of Saturday Night Fever fame and Kinko the clown. Apparently this is his normal going out raging attire that he wears to the Surf Rock Cafe.

DOORMAT MCKEOWN  was once again the bridesmaid at the 1996 Masters, however he did not go home empty handed picking up the Longest drive on the 9th. Doormat is at unbackable odds to win this years Masters.

Much controversy surrounded the score attributed to LONG DRIVE CLIFFY at the '96 Masters. Many believe he made more strokes than his 46 over the card 78. Apparently Buddha Yeates suffered a bilious attack out on the course and had to use the score sheet as toilet paper. Even though the scores were branded on Buddha's bum, it was not accepted as a card, due to all the players refusing to sign on his cheeks. So it was left up to their memories to fill out a new card at the end of the round.

RAMROD RAMSEY made international headlines by being the navigator of the car that badly injured the pilot, who happened to be one of his best clients and most valued assets. It is believed Ramrods acute sense of direction was the cause rather than the pilot error.



SEX SYMBOL RED COLBY the most eligible bachelor on tour has announced that he is no longer on the open market with his engagement to Donna. Red broke down in deepest darkest Africa when set upon by a hungry tiger. Thinking that he would die a lonely man, Red in a rash of terror proposed to Donna, who obviously was not thinking straight, and accepted. Red survived the ordeal with the tiger, but the question everyone is asking is whether Donna will survive her ordeal with Red? Congrats to both of you and every happiness in the future.

1992 Mongrel Masters champion JOHNO JOHNSON and his wife Jenny are the proud parents of their first child, Kaiya. We are told that she has her mothers good looks, but her fathers appetite.
 

KING BONSERr and Queen Karen also announced the arrival of their first addition to the royal family with little princess, Kate. It wont be too long before another member of the Bonser family will be able to beat the old man.
 

Not to be outdone by Johnno and the King, SPUDDY CRUDDY MURPHYy and Karen were proud parents of their second child, Danny early in the year. Apparently Danny is just like his old man, sleeps all day and rages all night

Since the Mongrel Masters introduced seedings for the playing groups in 1993, every winner has played in the final group.

That every Mongrel Masters champion, with the exception of Johno Johnson in 1992, has won from the final group.

The most number of players to compete in the Mongrel Masters is 19 in 1995 and the least number of players was 5 in 1990.

Four sets of brothers have played in the Mongrel Masters. Noni
& Chad, King & Charlie, Robo & Ferret, Santa & Crowles.

No player has ever eagled a hole in the Mongrel Masters.
