Aussie Retires

Three time Bradman Award winner and all time mongrel, Aussie Canty has announced his retirement from the Mongrel Masters due to health reasons.
His announcement has sent shock waves through the mongrel fraternity.

Aussie has a string of All Time Mongrel Records including:
* Lowest Bradman Score
* Highest Bradman Score
* Most Consecutive Awards
* First year player’s worst finish on Order Of Merit

Tributes for Aussie and his contribution to the Mongrel Masters have poured in.
" No one sledges like Aus" said two time playing partner and joint Bradman winner, Quailedog. "He had this great knack of knowing just when to honk his horn or rev up his bike that would irritate the shit out of you. I blame my poor display last year on Aus."

"I guess I better get some practice or 1 will end up with the Bradman next year" was Milton Daley’s response when told about Aussie's retirement. Many believe that Milton, the greatest exponent of the footwedge that the game has ever seen, should have taken out at least two Bradman Awards, but the pen was mightier than the club!
I

t will be Chad that will miss Aussie the most. "I wont have anyone that's uglier than me playing in the Masters anymore. Oh I forgot Noni is still playing."
Aussie will not be lost to the Mongrel Masters, the Board have asked him to take on an advisory role on the tournaments Ethics and Sledging Committee. No doubt the tournament can only benefit from his advice.
