Milton the Monster Daley Best Dressed.

In his first appearance at the Mongrel Masters, Milton the Monster Daley walked away with the Best Dressed Award for 1993.

Dressed in more colours than an SBS test pattern Milton almost did not make it to the tournament.

Whilst waiting on the comer of Coles Road and Harbord Road for his lift to the tournament, a Police car drove past. Upon noticing the technicoloured monster the car came to a sudden screeching holt. Reversed back in Milton's direction.
Anyone dressed the way Milton was at Sam in the morning is bound to raise the suspicion of New South Wales finest.

Milton responded calmly to the situation and jumped over the nearest fence so that he could not be found by the Police.

"As if they (the Police) were going to believe some Neville dressed up like a big fairy that he was going to play golf. It was dark and I had no golf clubs. So rather than find out what they wanted I bolted" recounted Milton.

Fortunately Milton was not taken in for questioning and made his way to the Masters.

It is hoped that Milton will be back for the 1994 Mongrel Masters to defend
his title.
