Saving the Blue Tweed

The sacred Blue Tweed has adorned every Mongrel Masters champion since 1991. Not every champion has been able to squeeze into the "tweed", in fact it has only fit Ramrod Ramsey, but for the others somehow they have managed with the occasional stretch on the seams of the fabric.

Then the 2003 Mongrel Masters champion Butch Boyer came along and put his bull like frame into the jacket. As can be seen in the photograph, Butch ripped the hell out of the jacket. The question that we are now faced with is whether such a holy relic of such historical proportions should be fixed and brought back to its original beauty or do we leave it as it is and take it as "rub of the green"?

The answer to such a question was seen to be too significant for it to be left to the Mongrel Masters Board and they have decided that the fate of the Blue Tweed will be left to the members and the public at large to determine.

Therefore the Board cordially invites you to complete the following survey on the matter. Your input will be gratefully received and will give the Board the direction they need to move forward on this very important matter.
