scoring rorts in Mongrel Masters history to come from 15th in 2001 to
3rd in 2002. A 13 stroke turn around!! Once again the pencil was
mightier than the irons. "He
was a pitiful sight. In fact we had him on suicide watch the whole
round. So rather than sledge him we consoled him." Noni Scanlon
describing Lurch Hayden's disasterous and historic round which saw him
fall from 1st to 20th having scored a massive 22 over par 55 in
comparison to his winning two over par 35 the previous year.
