It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the web site for the Mongrel Masters Championship.

Who would have thought that this tournament would have grown into one of the great enigmas in the world of golf following its humble beginning on New Year’s eve 1990? None of the five pioneers who walked the Palm Beach fairways this day could have imagined the excitement and rivalry the Mongrel Masters has engendered amongst those who have been invited to play in the tournaments that have followed.

Like all great sporting events, the Mongrel Masters reeks with tradition and has captured the hearts and minds of all who have had the honor of teeing up in the "fifth major" and jousting for the pleasure of donning the coveted blue tweed winner's jacket.

This years tournament  is no exception with the tradition to continue.

I would like  to specially welcome our media friends to this site. The Mongrel Masters is unashamedly the "world's worst golf tournament with the world's worst golfers" and it is the media we can thank for this honorable tag. I can assure you that we won't let you down this year.
